West Cape HoweCabernet Merlot 750mL
About this product
A deep, dark crimsony red. Good depth of fragrant and quite spicy, ripe berry fruit aromas with a hint of char-grilled sweet capsicum. Lovely sweet and smoky dark plum fruit flavours along with some delicious blackberry fruit characters. The wine is well structured with these generous dark berry fruit flavours complemented by the chewy, lightly drying tannins picked up from the skin contact during fermentation.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

Convincing purple-crimson colour; 12 months maturation in used French oak has resulted in the best possible outcome for this juicy, supple, joyously red berry-fruited wine; terrific value for drinking today or in five years.
