Eden Valley cabernet franc grown on the Irvine Eden Valley estate that displays a nose of ripe plum, raspberry and red cherry fruits. There's not much of the overt leafiness that often comes with the variety here. In its place, you'll find dried herbs and tobacco plus some softly spoken vanillin oak, earth and pressed flowers. There's a nice bright red-fruited presence on the palate, fine tannins and a juicy endpoint.
