Los Vascos
Chagual Sauvignon Blanc

About this product

Owned by Domaines Barons de Rothschild Lafite, Viña Los Vascos is located in the Central valley of Chile, in the Colchagua region, between the Andes and the Coastal Mountain Range, 200 km south of Santiago.

Chagual is the organic wine range of Los Vascos. The chagual (Puya chilensis) is a species over two metres tall endemic to the coastal region of Chile, and it is also a model in terms of its contribution to its ecosystem. Like this majestic plant, the Chagual organic wines represent the harmonious relationship between the vineyard and the community of Los Vascos.

Very pale yellow in colour with greenish hues, with an intense nose of lychee and passionfruit, supported by aromas of green chilli, asparagus and chives. The palate is juicy with a vibrant acidity that gives it persistence, highlighting a fruity, vibrant aftertaste of passion fruit and lemon peel.
