Open-fermented 7-10 days, matured for 16 months in new and 1yo French and American oak. Bright and clearly coloured, this has rarely-encountered energy and life to its rhapsodic display of red and black cherry, satsuma plum, spice and fine-grained tannins. Terrific value.

The parcels of grapes were open-fermented for 7-10 days before 16 months in new and 1-year-old French and American hogsheads. The crimson-purple colour is crystal clear and bright, the well balanced, medium-bodied palate offering an appealing mix of red cherry and raspberry fruits sprinkled with spice. A very good wine.
