They are selected for their ability to produce great Sauvignon Blancs and are wholly enclosed within the vineyard of Rayne Vigneau. The soil of these vineyards, mainly gravel and sand with Clay subsoil, are surprisingly rich in agates, amethysts, onyx, and even sapphires.
