About this product

This is always a very popular Château, delivering a consistently high level every year. This vintage is another classic Talbot; a light, fresh and floral bouquet with blackberry fruit, a little clove and tobacco. The ripe black fruits are supported by finely polished tannins, and there is a little savoury edge on the finish.

Tried 2017 vintage. Lots and lots of oak, primarily new oak. Grippy tannins with tobacco and tart berries. Would rate it 78points. Give it 5-10 more years to age.

Lovely limpid appearance in the glass. Nose slightly attenuated but excellent palate - just starting to develop some secondary characteristics. Very long after-taste. Loved it.
