Pretty perfume, rose hip, black cherry, a swirl of smoke, liquorice, green herbs. Has some guttural dark fruit in the palate but lifted on a cool breeze of mint-briary herbs and a shudder of fi ne tannin underlying. It’s got an appealing rugged edge, but loads of drinkability too. All the charm of pinot with a wild streak. I like it.
