Once & Well winemaker, Freya Hohnen, is often nicknamed ‘Frankie’ – and this collection explores the relationship between nature and wines crafted by her. This Chardonnay offers vibrant aromas of pineapple, melons and notes of vanilla biscotti and cream. The palate is luxurious and soft, peach and melon flavours with a hint of lemon curd and sweet spice.

I don't know about buttery, or all the other flavours listed on the bottle, but I loved it. Will definitely buy it again.

I have noticed a number of options in the buttery chardonnay range and finally decided to try this because of its price point. Not to my taste, I prefer the traditional sharpness or unwooded when I can find it.
