Up to '12, shiraz was on the label, now syrah. Fashion is fickle, yet regardless of nomenclature, this is a powerhouse. Full-bodied, deep and penetrating - oak adding to the shape as well as spice, the core of fruit is very good, concentrated and savoury with juniper, pepper, tannins are grainy and expansive. A little unforgiving - needs time.
