This is instantly appealing on the nose showing dark fruit notes together with warm spice, cedar, vanilla and olive characters. The palate is equally gorgeous with excellent weight and succulent fruit intensity together with fleshy texture and supple tannins, finishing long and delicious. At its best: now to 2027.

Classically-styled Barossa shiraz, deep in fruit, sweetly ripe, yet all in harmony. Blackberries on the nose have a savoury aspect a little like a hint of smoked paprika. Oak is nicely subdued. It's mouth-filling and succulent with dry tannins in fine balance.
