These contours were shaped to follow the slope of the hillside maximising the water capture on these dry-grown vineyards, as well as giving the horse-drawn carts easier access by providing a gentle slope to bring the grapes back to the winery. McLaren Vale characteristics are on show with mocha, hints of cassis and blackcurrant fruit. A terrific full-bodied and rich wine.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
