From three blocks at 448-501m, fermented at 24 °C in closed sweep arm fermenters with cultured yeast, 80% matured for 6 months in new French and American oak, 20% in used French oak. A very appealing cabernet at this price point, with crystal clear cassis on a neatly focused medium-bodied palate, the polished tannins taking the curtain call.

The trick is to generate an impression of power without it looking as tough you''re trying too hard. This wine makes the trick looks easy. It''s built for the long haul, with callipers of tannin keeping everything firmly in place, but cassis, mint, chocolate and earthen/mineral characters still have plenty of space to make their voices heard.
