They like to make their tempranillos on the big side. This begins with a deep, youthful, dark colour, then saturates the palate with rich red and black fruit, highlighted by notes of cola, oak and dried herbs, and finishing with a coating of fine powdery tannin.

"It would be fair to say that this is tempranillo trying hard to taste like shiraz, but for most red wine drinkers this is hardly a negative. It presents a big body of ripe, sweet, berried flavours. It’s not complex but it’s substantial, fleshy and exceptionally easy to enjoy. Smoky, cedarwood oak adds that little bit extra."
