This is what indigenous Spanish Grenache should be, and often sells for more than twice this sort of price. The perfume on this has to be experienced to be believed. Grippy tannin intensity, binding and nurturing a mouthful of Kirsch-like saturated flavours. Black and deeply dark purple fruits. A hint of raspberry liquorice bullets, a finely tuned thread of spice throughout.
