The Gateway HIll vineyard produces fruit that has vibrancy and vitality and delivers wines of great power, underpinning a delicacy and finesse not commonly found in warmer climate fruit. This single block wine is testament to the growing methods along with very capable hands in nurturing the fruit into the finished product.

An intriguing wine that will inspire lots of dinner party conversation - first trying to guess the varietals, and second, complimenting its ability to match many different dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed the floral and fresh pear and lychee nose and tangy seabreeze whiff, with loads of intricate palate interest from savoury nashi pear, dried orange rind, cut capsicum and a liight sprinkle of spicy white pepper. It finishes crisp and fresh and dry. And its biodynamic. Fascinating.
