Ardbeg is a renowned name associated with intense, peaty whiskies in the past 200 years. What makes the 'terroir' of Ardbeg are the secret mixing of those different aged butts and rare puncheons; giving Perpetuum the classic Ardbeg aroma of tar, soot, pine resin and peaty accompany by the richness of toffee and dark chocolate on the nose. Very robust peat smoke throughout with nutty spices and mouth coating creaminess on the palate. Nice little bite at the end. Very smooth and enjoyable.
