The first-ever master blend of whiskies from six famous coastal single malt distilleries: Caol Ila, Clynelish, Lagavulin, Oban, Inchgower and Talisker. A gloriously pleasing and affirming whisky that captures the character of coastal malts perfectly. Cladach, in Gaelic ‘shoreline', marries six great coastal malts into one, with briny aromas of sea-air, sand and seaweed, then sweet, salty, smoky warmth and a pungent, spicy finish. From the shale beaches and big skies of Inchgower come intense, spicy, salty, tangy characters, while from the sand and windswept grasses of Clynelish the flavours are unpeated, waxy, creamy-smooth. In the west, the pebbles and harbour life of Oban are reflected in a lightly peated, fruity, spicy charm. On the islands, the hidden rocky bay of Caol Ila yields fresh, sweet, salty, smoky aromas and flavours while the rocks of ages past at Lagavulin give up their intense, peaty, drying secret. Finally, the silt and granite mountains of Talisker give forth a sweet, malty, smoky, peppery warmth.
