Ever-reliable. Rich dark colour. Black cherry, spices, super fresh and still youthful. Elements of cigar box and earth with lifted full fruit and wisps of white pepper. Fantastic value

Matured in used American and French oak. Exceptionally deep purple-crimson for a wine at this price, and the flavour does not tell fibs; it is loaded with black fruits, and is a classic now (with barbecue beef or ox) or in 10 years time (slightly smaller serve of beef). Terrific value for the carnivore set of which I am commander in chief.
