Dark berry fruits, hints of plum and dusty mulberry with subtle vanilla, mocha and chocolaty oak flavours are complemented by fine grained, softly assertive tannins.

This is an unequivocally good release. It’s assertive but balanced. Dark berries, bay leaves, tobacco, chocolate and coffee grounds. It’s aromatic, full-bodied, powerful and long. It drinks well now, because it feels fresh and gorgeously well proportioned. But it’s also strung with tannin and generally set up to age both gracefully and well.
