The Shiraz grapes for this wine were harvested at optimum ripeness and fermented in open fermenters allowing maximum skin contact via extended maceration to extract the full fruit flavours. The wine produced is of full body with silky fine tannins that will soften further with age. Blue Rock Wines Shiraz has abundant raspberry, cherry and mulberry aromas and a perfect balance of flavour, tannin and acidity, that is complexed with smoky, toasty & vanilla characters introduced from 24 months of barrel ageing in American and French Oak.
