About this product

Cape Mentelle has named their new range of Chardonnay from where the grapes were sourced. From the cooler southern half of the Margaret River in Western Australia, lies this beautiful location of Chapman Brook Vineyard, where the climates captures the freshness of the fruit and its natural acidity. There is white blossom, stone fruits and citrus peels on the nose with similar flavour profile but more lifted citrus, stone fruits and a hint of caramel oak on the palate. A great wine for easy food matching.

Elegant, nice fruity tones, notes of peach and passionfruit and mandarine, really lovely to drink. Leaves you wanting more

Chardonnays are tricky. Many suck and most are overpriced, but this is a fine example of why a really well made chardonnay is a very enjoyable experience. Knock $5 off the price and this would be a good deal. As is, it is still very nice. A
