About this product

Established in 1838, Chateau Reynella, now, simply, Reynella, is seen as the birthplace of South Australian wine industry, as they were the first to grow grapes commercially for winemaking in South Australia. Their first vintage was in 1842 after John Reynell received vine cuttings from William Macarthur from NSW. McLaren Vale fruit is used to make the Basket Pressed Shiraz; a full bodied and ripe style. It is widely regarded as one of the very best wines the region produces.
