This is an awesome whisky and probably cask strength too boot. There's plenty of sherry influence with a beautiful mouth feel, heat and fruit. It lacks a big waxy note, a character of this whisky, but who cares. It's big, bold and beutiful.

I bought it on sales which was pretty good for a 50%+ single malt. I really enjoyed it, smooth but really strong, fresh nose and roma is tasty. If it was on full price, I personally choose Aberlour A'Bunadh Single Malt which I believe is on

this is not the best product in the world considering the premium price its was set at. im pretty sure I had a bit of a dud batch as there was a strong metallic aftertaste. Really not a fun product to breakdown
