The Amen Break Chinamans Terrace Central Otago NZ Pinot Noir has a wonderful dense deep red colour. romatics of red plum, black cherry and bunch derived Campari are pure and intense. The palate is a revelation - dense but bright, concentrated and with space. Pure Pinot Noir flavours are wrapped in fine filigreed tannins, which are layered and add many levels of complexity. A vibrant, vineyard derived wine, free of winemaking artifact and rich in authenticity.

The Wild Earth vineyard is on Felton Road in the Bannockburn sub-region of Central Otago. We all now know what the Amen Break is. The wine is made by the Clonal Brothers – Steve and Matt Harrop.Deep pinot noir. Spice notes sunk into a deep pool of macerated red and black cherry, almost or effectively into plum. Fragrant green herb and roasted nut characters put on a complex display, though nothing juts, nothing ever gets too distracting. Starts solid and then gets better and more interesting/engaging as it breathes. Can’t complain over either the quality or the price.
