A blend of several vineyards; matured 20 months in seasoned French and American oak barrels. Blackcurrant and redcurrant fruit meet cedary oak, set to a savour backdrop of roast capsicum. Varietal and approachable, with a soft, supple tannin frame and balanced acid line. A little shy on concentration and verve, but nonetheless a happy quaffer.
