Vintage 2012
93 points
Deeply, densely inky in the glass. Intense ripe black fruit aromas with tell-tale McLaren Vale chocolate. The flavours are blueberry/blackberry tart with a creamy texture - all brimming with fleshy, dark fruit plushness. Nicely framing fine, ripe, complementary tannins and a long, full flavoured finish - a succulent and satisfyingly complete Shiraz from this famous label.

Vintage 2012
95 points Halliday Wine Companion
A blend of 67% cabernet sauvignon and 33% shiraz, with each matured in a mix of new and used French and American oak for 18 months. A high quality wine, reflecting the perfect vintage conditions. Blackberry and plum lead on the bouquet and palate, the oak under control, the tannins ripe and soft.
