About equal proportions of each, fermented and matured separately in seasoned oak for 15 months prior to barrel selection and blending. Typically for these blends, the perfumed grenache makes the first impression, but there's balance and symmetry overall. Softly textured with warm flavours of red fruit and spice, it's easy drinking with a high quality feel.

Ripe fruited with dark berries, black olive, licorice complexity, damp black earth, tightening acidity, black currant lozenge, medium bodied, juicy, flavour-packed, fruit dominant and with dryish tannins. Avoids sweetness and has a degree of plushness to the fruit. Spicy finish. Solid stuff.
