The DRC Romanée Saint-Vivant may not get quite the same attention like others from the same producer (La Romanée-Conti or La Tâche), but to pass one of these is a big mistake. This wine is among the freshest and purest in the DCR's range. Always a pleasure to drink, with abundant red fruit, silky tannins, floral notes, and a complex spice bouquet in the background. Unlike many other wines from this producer, the Romanée Saint-Vivan can be drunk either young or old. This wine is incredible value for the price.
