About this product

The State of South Australia was founded after a group of merchants petitioned the King of England to settle a new ‘planned’ colony with freedom of religion and without convict labour. In 1836 the 9 ships arrived on relatively unmapped land and the colony was ‘proclaimed.’ We celebrate and highlight this remarkable history with the Remarkable State Wines.
A fruit forward Rhone style blend, the Barossa Shiraz delivers ripe and powerful fruit including blackberries and plums. This is lifted by the juicy Grenache red berry flavours while the touch Mourvedre adds weight and structure.
