The Remarkable StateProclamation Adelaide Hills Chardonnay 2017
About this product
The State of South Australia was founded after a group of merchants petitioned the King of England to settle a new ‘planned’ colony with freedom of religion and without convict labour. In 1836 the 9 ships arrived on relatively unmapped land and the colony was ‘proclaimed.’ We celebrate and highlight this remarkable history with the Remarkable State Wines. A stylish single vineyard Chardonnay from the northern end of the Adelaide Hills. Plenty of rockmelon characters along with some refreshing peach and plumped out by subtle creamy oak.

A delightfully stylish chardonnay; the elegantly expressed bouquet shows white flesh nectarine, rockmelon, lemon peel and vanilla characters with hints of nougat and almond. The palate is brightly fruited and beautifully rounded, displaying lovely mid palate weight and creamy mouthfeel, finishing persistent and refined.
