Clarendon HillsBrookman Clarendon Merlot 2012
About this product
Cassis and black currant fruit present within a fleshy palate whose softened structure provide a plush mouthfeel. There is a demonstration of attentive tannin extraction as the seamlessly integrated structure offers both density and elegance with waves of restrained black currant fruit depth. A dried earth character seen across the subtle finish suggests future years in the cellar will reveal further earthy, mushroom and truffle characters.

Vintage 2012
91 points
Medium to deep garnet/purple, the 2012 Merlot Brookman Vineyard starts off with aromas of red and black plums, mulberries and dried herbs plus hints of garrigue and earth. Medium to full-bodied and concentrated, the earthy and savory palate has chewy tannins and a long finish. It should age well and improve.
