Grapes sourced from the Strawlodge & Andahlane vineyards running off the West Coast Road in the upper Wairau Valley area & Tobermore Vineyard in the Rapaura region. Hand-picked. Ten months in French oak barrels. Ripe cherry & plum, spice & a touch of vanilla on the nose. A juicy palate of dark berries, with some savoury spice notes. Balanced oak & fine tannins.
