It has the elegance of a cool climate wine - black peppery and sometimes mint characters with warm spices on the nose with great tannins and oak structure on the palate. Best's Great Western Bin 1 Shiraz is beautifully made by a winery that's been producing wonderful shiraz for over 150 years! Time in our cellar has only enhanced an already beautiful gem.

Spiced black fruit and plum notes, regional earthy tannins and perfect balance mark the 2016 as, not only a bargain, but as a brilliant introduction to both the quality of Best's winemaking and the inegrity of the Great Western wine region. Great Western Shiraz has the repuation of ageing well, so don't be surprised to see this drinking well in another 5 years time. Tasted March '23
