For this taster at least, this is an absurd construct: wines fermented in whisky barrels and completed in those designed for wine. Put it this way, the first whiff is one of a whisky charred smokiness. There are stone fruit flavours clinging to the oaky seams, with a core of vanilla and creamy nuts topping off the indulgence. Finishes oaky.
