Vintage 2018
93 points
Sometimes referred to as "the queen of Beaujolais", the Fleurie commune generally produces instantly attractive floral and juicy wines, absolutely begging to be enjoyed immediately.
The impressive house of Henry Fessy had a wonderful vintage in 2018. Their 2018 Le Pavillon is everything that a good Fleurie should be. There's slurpy succulence, ripe, fleshy cherries and plump plums, with good weight for a beaujolais. Fresh and tangy on the finish, and with a delightful touch of spice, this delicious offering could even be chilled.
