That great Veneto varietal, Garganega, of “Soave” fame is strutting its stuff in a very convincing way in Victoria’s King Valley - an entirely appropriate locale, given the strong Italian connection to the region. Yellow blossom aromas introduce the wine, followed by flavours of ripe yellow plum, zesty citrus, and clingstone peach. A lively, vivacious white displaying good intensity, and nicely rounded out on the finish. “ It's a happy, joyous wine - makes me smile," enthuses panelist and Senior Wine Buyer, Tim Merrett.
