About this product

Penfolds Magill Estate Shiraz is a slice of history. The only remaining wine from Penfolds that is solely grown and made at the historic Magill Estate in the Eastern suburbs of Adelaide - and still today a single vineyard wine. The 2011 vintage gives an amalgam of quandong, redcurrant, sage and ginger flavours – not threatened in any way by the influence of Quercus robur or Quercus petraea. Tight and refined with fresh, lively acidity (almost Sangiovese-like) courting concordant powdery tannins.
