Bold and brooding, the wine shows ripe blackberry, smoked game, cocoa and roasted nut characters on the nose with a lovely seasoning of pepper spice. The palate delivers excellent concentration and rounded mouthfeel, beautifully supported by plush texture and silky tannins, finishing impressively long and velvety. At its best: now to 2030.
