About this product

Made with a minimal intervention philosophy from fruit grown in the cooler reaches of Navarra, Spain. Carefull plunging ensured gentle colour and flavour extraction. Gravity fed, not pumped, into concrete vats for natural fining and finishing in French oak results in well preserved fruit notes and a smooth, long finish.   The wine is a different style of tempranillo with a good volume of uncomplicated, juicy red and black fruit, and finishing with chalky tannins.

Slightly chilled this went down nicely with a pizza. Great value at the current two for one deal, will be purchasing more.

When I was in uncle dans today reading up on the different wines on special I read that Tempranillo was often compared to Pinot noirs and I can’t understand why, they’re completely different. First thing this is 14.5% alcohol so sip slow. N
