Planted in '95. Comprising 27 rows of cabernet sauvignon and four of petit verdot, with the latter making up 7% of the blend. Excellent dark crimson colour, wafts of menthol and dark chocolate sprinkled on blackberry and plum compote, deep, earthy. Complex, very complete palate, tannins ripe and plentiful.

Medium deep colour. Intense and fragrant cassis redcurrant mulberry aromas, cedar/ mocha, roasted chestnut oak and underlying herb garden/ truffle notes. Classic blackcurrant, mocha, roasted chestnut flavours, superb integrated tobacco/ chinotto-like complexity, attractive mid-palate viscosity and firm grainy persistent tannins. Finishes grainy slinky firm with lovely inky blackcurrant/ redcurrant fruits and persistent graphite plume. A beautiful Coonawarra Cabernet with lovely density, richness and torque. Drink now to 2035.
