Faithful to the varieties. Dusty and leafy but with mulberry and curranty fruit flavours flowing through. It has a certain structural integrity, with every-so-slightly sinewy tannin pulling through the back half of the wine. It’s not a shiraz-wannabe; a good thing. It’s decent.
