Grapes picked from the Leston vineyard, has a vibrant dark raspberry colour, expansive aromas of poached plums, blueberry muffins, star anise, violets and mocha. A mix of rich and plump poached winter fruits, ginger spice and chewy tannins. A perfect wine straight from our Cellar.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

Full, bright crimson-purple; a more powerful and complex wine than most prior Leston Shirazs; there is great depth to the black fruits, but strong tannins and 18 months in new and used French oak need to settle down. The balance of the wine is not in question, so its future is assured, but it needs time.
