Gruyere HillYarra Valley Chardonnay 2016
About this product
The wine has a brilliant lemon-green colour. The nose is a beautiful blend of apricot kernel, lemon pith and just ripe pineapple from the fruit and vanilla and sweet spice from the oak. The palate is creamy with fine acidity and layered flavours of peach, apricot, chamomile and vanilla. The 2016 Gruyere Hill Chardonnay can be enjoyed on its own and would be a wonderful accompaniment to barbequed prawns and chorizo

93 Points
Cleverly balanced, this Chardonnay is lean and restrained on first impression, displaying a nice backbone of vibrant acidity with fresh green apple characters, then chiming in with white peach and well integrated lees elements adding to the texture and leaving the palate with a roasted cashew finish, persistently lingering.
