Predominantly hand-picked from the Eden Valley, with a small Barossa Valley component, open-fermented in 1t bins, matured in French oak for 15 months. Super-rich, heading towards blackberry jam. It's well balanced withal, and should reduce its girth with time in bottle.

This is wonderfully fruited and gorgeously fragrant on the nose showing blackberry, blueberry compote, mixed spice, roasted nut and cocoa characters. The palate is equally satisfying with supple mouthfeel, backed by excellent fruit power and intensity, leading to a persistent silky finish. An immediately appealing shiraz filled with delectable flavours. At its best: now to 2025.
