TorbreckDescendant Shiraz Viognier 2000
About this product
Typically rich Barossa Shiraz spice with dark fruits and and some fine tannins; the finish exhibits a smooth mouth feel with jasmine and apricot hints flowing from the Viognier. The original vineyard was planted by David Powell in 1994 with cuttings off the old Run Rig Vineyards, (arguably some of the oldest genetic material in Australia). The aptly named 'Descendent' is matured for 18 months in ex Run Rig barrels.
