About this product

Former Rémy Cointreau executive Stephen Carroll launched Don Papa in 2011 in Bacolod, a premium sugarcane growing region in the Philippines. Carroll founded Bleeding Heart Rum Company and named the rum after Colonel Dionisio Magbuelas, also known as Papa Isio, who was an iconic leader and key figure in the 1890s Philippines Revolution.

Great sipping rum or with a very small amount of Coka. 1:1 is a good ratio.

A sweet rum. Good on ice or with fruit shakes

This is a sweet rum with a real burnt caramel taste. If is simply spectacular with Bunbagerg gingerbeer, or sweet fruit smoothies like a mango or Banana. I served it to the fanily at xmas and they all loved it.
