It is wonderfully ripe and immediately appealing on the nose showing crème de cassis, plum, tobacco, spice and cocoa characters, leading to a succulent palate that is plump and flavoursome. The wine offers terrific fruit power together with generous mouthfeel and polished tannins, finishing long and delicious. At its best: now to 2030.
