This is a robust and hearty wine! Beautiful colour and would go well with steak and hearty meat dishes. It’s dry with a strong flavour. Not for the faint hearted but a solid wine.

In the past I have enjoyed blaufrankish wine. But this wine, made from a related grape, was very disappointing; little aroma, nothing in the mid-palate or at the end.
