Made using malted Irish barley, un-malted Irish barley, and Irish barra oats, this elegant Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey is triple distilled and aged primarily in Kentucky Bourbon casks, with some Sherry Oloroso casks.
On the nose there are toasted nut, vanilla, honey, and toffee notes that are accompanied by sweet, dried fruit. The palate has Winter spice, redcurrant, and coconut shift to deeper notes of dark chocolate, almond and oak. It has a creamy, full bodied mouthfeel with unexpected depth. The finish has scintillating sweet wine notes, with a slip of dry spice that lingers delicately and sublimely.
