Connoisseurs Choice Strathmill 1999 Scotch Whisky 700mL

This Diageo owned distillery is hidden from view on the river banks south of Keith in Speyside. Sweet vanilla with hints of lemon, green apple and a subtle cinnamon aroma. Toasted malt with a touch of eucalyptus. Light and fruity also showing pineapple and banana. Mulled wine aromas develop with a subtle herbal edge. The palate is peppery initially with lime, orange peel and cloves flavours. Becomes creamy with a milk chocolate edge. Black pepper and a slight saltiness initially. Pineapple, pressed apple and tangerine flavours develop with some water.
